No Auburn Broadcast
We regret to inform you, that there will be no WRGW broadcast for the Men’s game @ Auburn this Saturday. Make sure to tune in tomorrow afternoon at 1:40 PM when WRGW will have live coverage from Lexington as Ben Toder and Alex Tainsh bring you all the coverage from Rupp Arena for the GW Women’s game against the Kentucky Wildcats.

10/29: Box Out! will be joined by former GW women’s basketball coach Joe McKeown at 4 and former GW men’s basketball coach Mike Jarvis at 5:40.
10/30: The GW Men’s Basketball team hosts open practice from 5 to 6. The sports staff consisting of Julian Gompertz, Ben Toder, and myself will be broadcasting the practice live and will bring over players and coaches afterward for questions.
10/31: Halloween Spectacular on The Real Deal. In the first half, we will be joined by Mel Greenberg of the Philadelphia Daily News to discuss the Phillies’ World Series run. At 5:30 p.m., Bob Costas will be calling in. We will discuss the to-be-determined outcome of the World Series, the future of baseball, the success of the 2008 Olympic games, and many other topics. Audio of the interview will be posted afterward. The Real Deal airs every Friday from 4 to 6 on www.gwradio.com.
11/5: WRGW’s first basketball broadcast of the season. The new-look women’s basketball team looks to put the new pieces together in this year’s exhibition game against the DT-3 All Stars at 7:30 at the Smith Center. Stuart Grimes and Eric Streuning will be calling the game with Evan Waxman and Ali Toumadj handling production duties. Pre-game show will start at 7:10. Game notes to come.
11/6: Half-Jewish Sports hosts Steven Joel Trachtenberg in-studio at 4.
11/8: The GW men’s basketball season begins with their exhibition against West Georgia at 2 p.m. in the Smith Center. Scott Trocchia and Nick Provazza will be broadcasting with Max Feinblatt and Robinson Lynn producing. Pre-game show begins at 1:40. Game notes to come.
